BTW, OL 3.x has solved the map background issue and has an example you can try. Once you have made a path into a Custom Shape, you can, with a click-drag of the mouse, create a new copy of that shape, in any size, color, or layer style you want, anytime and anywhere. With Custom Shapes, you can do much more with vector graphics than you could before. If that's not a problem for you, then perhaps give html2canvas a try. Custom Shapes came along beginning with version 6 of Photoshop. The Canvas is a Game Object with a Canvas component on it, and all UI elements must be children of such a Canvas. More info See in Glossary elements should be inside. That can go anywhere from 6 squares to 20 x 24 If you’re the type to emulate Todd Nauck and draw on Post-It Notes, then set it to 3 x 3 or 4 x 4. I've gotten this to work but the problem with OL 2.x is that one can't export the background map tiles when saving to an image (at least I couldn't find something that working when I was researching this issue). The Canvas is the area that all UI (User Interface) Allows a user to interact with your application. If your plan is to paint digitally with Clip Studio Paint and the brush tools are an awesome fit for that then look at real world canvas sizes. There's also a helper script called html2canvas which can take a screenshot of the web page or parts of web page. That being said, you can declare an HTML5 canvas element, copy tile images and image layers onto it, and then use methods to retrieve information or manipulate those images via the canvas element. However, the OL stable 2.13 release did not use Camp-to-Camp's canvas options for the layers.

As I used their code at one point myself while exploring canvas options with OL, I believe it was a modified version of 2.11 (perhaps 2.12). Rather it's more for trying out ideas, though it some cases OL may incorporate Camp-to-Camp's code in a future release. I also want to conquer InDesign.Well, you were using Camp-to-Camp's sandbox code which is not part of the OL releases. I feel stupid now but I remember Photoshop being a beast to learn as well. I found little toggle handles that I could drag to make the board a better size for my new smaller map. I went in your way - praying it was still there since I'm on CC(2014) and it is.

1.0 and later as vector files, with editable paths.

Via Creative Cloud, images created in Adobe Illustrator Draw can be exported to Adobe Illustrator CC. I moved it but it moved the Artboard and the "work". A versatile vector application for inking sketches and drawings on the go, Adobe Illustrator Draw lets you create freeform vector artwork using a brush, pens, and more. That centered a smaller Artboard cropping off the right side of my map. I used the Artboard tool but when I tried to change the size in the menu bar like I do when I scale in Photoshop. So I have to go in to Illustrator and shrink my Artboard (aka Canvas in the Photoshop person's mind). Her critique of my draft was that I didn't need to include the social media links on my map. Sadly, my Word site map is prettier but I digress.

Development and my instructor wants us to use Illustrator for our final site maps and Word for our preliminaries.

OMG! Thank you! Like Gert, I'm a Photoshop person who is new to Illustrator.
